TLK- Tojo find's the truth

Tojo slide down the rest of the cliff face. Nala, Chumvi, Kula, and Tama followed him. They all spread out. All were looking for some clue to the death of their friend. After about an hours worth of looking, Tojo called to the others "We should go back soon. If the hyena's find us we'll be goners and if our mom's wake up and don't see us....who knows what they will do." The others nodded in agreement.
They each began to climb the steep cliff that lead back into the valley. Tojo brought up the rear. All of a sudden a bird flew by him. It floated infront of his face chirping it's head off. Tojo growled at him to be quiet but the bird wouldn't stop. The bird was Moja the leader of Tojo's flock. It was odd that the bird didn't listen to Tojo.
He calmly lept back down to the bottom of the gorge. He followed Moja until he saw something. It was Mufasa. The king was on his side and lifeless. Tojo slowly walked toward the body. Mufasa looked so peaceful but where was Simba. Why was the young prince not dead and motionless by his father? Tojo's mind began raceing. He looked at Mufasa again and noticed something. Claw marks! A lion had dug his claws into the king right before he died. What had Scar done that day? Did he try to save him or was he really the murderer? What was going on?


I drew this awhile ago. It is part of the my story The Rise of Scar. It tells the tale of Nala and the other cubs during the time of Scar being king. In the story the cubs want to know more about their friends death so they go looking for any evidence. Nala is suspicious because Simba had left that morning with Scar because Scar had to show him something.
I haven't colored anythign in a long long time so I tried some new things.
